The primary purpose of the Church is to bring glory to our God, “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31). We give God the glory due to His name by obeying His word. His Word commands us to be witnesses, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen” (Matthew 28:19-20). By living lives that honor God, we seek to be witnesses for Him, displaying the greatness of God and our love for Him. We have decided to honor Him by fulfilling this command. Our mission is clear, we must tell those who have not heard that Jesus Christ loves them, and we must strengthen those who have accepted His love.

Sunday School Bible Studies

We encourage you to visit our Sunday School Bible studies at Gunnery Road Baptist Church on Sunday mornings from 9-9:45 am. The answers to spiritual emptiness, inner anxiety, a broken relationship, and external loss are found in the Word of God. Bible studies can help you have a growing relationship with God, and that is learning to live. Bible study is life-changing. We currently have four Bible studies: “Biblical Finance” for young people, “12 Extraordinary Women by John MacArthur” for women, “Men Leading Spiritually” for men, & “Shepherding a Child’s Heart by Tedd Tripp” for Families with elementary-age children.

Children Sunday School

While the adults hold bible studies, the children attend Sunday school learning about God’s Word at their level.

Children’s Church

We start each service by worshiping the Lord in song as a family. After the singing portion of the service, the children ages 5th grade and under will be dismissed to children’s church.

Youth Group

Do you have kids grades 6th-12th? We have a youth group that helps them dig deep into the word of God with other people their age. Luke Holt, our youth pastor, periodically holds fun activities for them.

Vacation Bible School

GRBC hosts VBS Every summer.VBS is an hour and a half for four days ending with a firework show. We use the Answers in Genesis VBS curriculum. We hope to see you this summer!

Biblical Counseling

Life is full of sin and confusion. We all know of people who need help and hope. At GRBC, we have a group of ACBC-certified biblical counselors who will minister God’s truth based on God’s Word.
